Valley View
‘Valley View’, was a 1930’s detached cottage needing some modernising & extending to make it into a larger family home. The large, rear 2 storey extension housed a further bedroom & bathroom while on the ground floor we extended the kitchen family room & created a utility & shower room.
To the side of the house an extra reception room was created with a single storey extension, although small it is incredibly light with windows on all 3 sides casting views across the countryside. New roof coverings, windows & doors were fitted throughout, along with an air source heat pump & the house was rendered to complete the look.
Moving outside to the landscaping, we laid a simple shingle sweeping drive with underlaying plastic grids which create a rustic look while being practical & hardwearing & paved a large patio area to the rear of the house forming a terrace with flower beds. A truly wonderful family home to enjoy living in for years to come.
