Beaconsfield

Beaconsfield is a true example of small can be beautiful, functional & a truly lovely space in which to live.

We helped our clients transform a dated home into a modern bright efficient home while restoring & adding character. We loved this project as we were able to offer a personal service with a kitchen plan & advice on materials, colours & tiles. We can do as much or as little as you would like when we work with you.

Beaconsfield was a 3-bedroom house with a ground floor bathroom which underwent a single storey extension to house a fully integrated kitchen, a new bathroom & utility area. The new bespoke wooden sash windows & set of glazed timber doors open up onto the decking which flows down into the landscaped garden. An added roof light floods the kitchen with natural daylight making it a light & airy space to enjoy living & entertaining in.

The cellar was tanked & fitted out as a plant room with shelving for additional storage. A new shower room was created on the 1st floor & a cloakroom with sink added on the 2nd floor. The ceiling height was also raised & insulated on the 2nd floor & fitted cupboards installed with a larger sized dorma window which fills the room with light & opens up the magnificent view over Woodbridge. Chapel landscaped the front & back gardens & laid the new mosaic path which leads up to the bespoke timber front door completing the transformation while very much keeping with the tradition of the house & street.
