Charity Football Match 2024
February 2014 was the very beginning for Chapel Properties, with a few guys on site and a couple in the office. The business has gradually grown throughout these 10 years to now employ over 40 employees out on site and in the office.
To celebrate this massive milestone, Chapel Properties held a 10 year party at the Woodbridge Football Club. The day consisted of bouncy castles, a BBQ, a raffle and the main event of the day, the charity football match.
The team headed out with a great morale and keenness to the get the job done. Following a great game, the win was presented to Brafe Engineering.
Overall the day raised £2000 with equal amounts going to the British Heart Foundation and Farlingaye School for their new tennis courts.

Woodbridge 10K Road Race 2024
On Sunday 19th May, Chapel Properties took to the roads of Woodbridge with a team of 10 runners ready to complete the annual Woodbridge 10K. Being sponsors of the race, Chapel started the morning with setting up their banners on the market hill, ready for the day ahead. The runners gathered at the start line with their vibrant orange tops, 9 in the 10K and Oscar taking part in the junior race. The event is always a great success with the community coming out to support the runners and we look forward next years race!
Woodbridge Town Football Club
November – WTFC – continuing our support for Woodbridge Town Football Club we sponsored an ad in the Ipswich 24 magazine raising support & the profile of the club.
WTFC fun day
WTFC fun day was a roaring success, it was a great family day out & a brilliant football match which we won 5-2, but more importantly we all raised £1500 for The Hospice.

Chapel Properties have entered a team into the Woodbridge 10K Road Race this year. We have sponsored and entered a team every year since 2016, with the team growing bigger and bigger each year. Our director, Mark has participated in the race for over 20 years and is excited to enter a team again. We can’t wait to see the town out supporting the runners. On the 1st & 2nd of September, Woodbridge is holding a music festival over at Elmhurst Park & we are one of the sponsors & we are supplying & erecting the heras fencing for the 2nd year.
Local football match between Chapel Properties & Homestyle Windows (sponsors of WTFC.) to be played at WTFC on the Sunday the 3rd of September, a great fund raiser & family day out with all proceeds going to St. Elizabeth Hospice, everyone welcome. Musicians for Peace
Musicians for Peace are back due to popular demand & successful fund raising, our neighbours at The Old Chapel are opening up their home on the 30th of April with a concert performed by professional local musicians who donate their time free.
The charity to benefit from the success of this concert is, Military Veterans, such a noble cause & Chapel are proud to be able to make a donation.
We wish them a very enjoyable & successful evening.

Last year, our first Musicians for Peace concert, a powerful and moving performance of Shostakovitch String Quartet No 8, was in aid of Ukrainian refugees and raised £20,000. The second and also hugely successful concert was by Britain’s number one pianist Paul Lewis, in aid of World Heart Beat Music Academy.
We have taken part in Musicians for Peace for numerous years and we will continue to do so!
Jewson’s Golf Day
September has been a busy month, we were delighted to be invited to take part in a Jewson’s Golf Day, raising money for a deserving charity, supporting mental health in the construction industry. Although we didn’t win, Lewis did get an award for the longest drive…. Thank you to Jewson’s & Ufford Park Golf for a great afternoon.
Jamie’s Fun Day
Is a charity event that is being put together on Sunday 22nd May at Woodbridge Town FC in Suffolk.
After losing his dad, facing bullying this young lad & his mum & their friends continue to raise money for the 3 forces charities, SSAFA, Hidden Warriors and Scotty’s Little Soldiers that all helped them.
We will be there spending our money & joining in, it’s a first for us to sponsor a match ball.
September was a busy month for, ‘Hair’ & Sponsors
Our daughter braved the chop & had her hair cut. She donated 14 inches of her hair to the, ‘ Princess Trust’, along with our support she raised enough money to have her hair made into a child’s wig with some money left over for the charity.
Coincidentally our son joined his friends (& a fellow Chapel employee/family member) & shaved their heads &/or beards to raise money for Macmillian, this took place to highlight a close friend having a life changing diagnosis & they wanted to support his charity. Congratulations to all of them for raising over £3,500.
Chapel Properties were delighted to be one of Sound City Ipswich 2021 sponsors, they’ve organised an event which will celebrate local artists and live music and will be taking place across multiple venues in Ipswich town centre. Out Loud Music is a registered charity.

Mark is a local born & bred craftsman who completed a City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry &Joinery at Ingram Smiths.
His father has a history of boatbuilding too taking a boat building course in the 1960’s at Whisstocks, so Mark & his 88 year old dad take great delight in being part of the Woodbridge Riverside Trust who have developed this community space for boat building.
We help local family raise money for medical treatment
It has been such a difficult year for everybody in many different ways! We heard the plight of a local young lady’s family, like many, facing challenging times trying to raise vast sums of money for her medical treatment.
We sponsor Sandlings Walk
We admire these personal challenges, to walk 58 miles in 19 hours & 16mins, amazing achievement for Barry & Tim who raised £7,468 for EACH. We were proud to be one of the sponsors.
