Chapel Properties of Woodbridge is a construction company specialising in high quality new builds, property renovation, residential refurbishments and extensions.
Over the course of the past decade, we have undertaken an array of projects for a diverse clientele, delivering successful outcomes time and time again. Located conveniently in central Woodbridge, our office warmly welcomes clients for consultations throughout the week, with weekend appointments available upon request. Operating within the Suffolk Area, we place paramount importance on our reputation and service.
Our story so far... it all started in 2014 when Mark & Ruth embarked on setting up a construction company with a difference, where their passion leads to amazing projects, completed with a refreshing experience. With over 40 years of working in the construction industry, from humble beginnings to high end luxury developments in London, Mark which has grown the business to employ a workforce of over 50 like-minded conscientious staff, some have worked alongside him for over 30 years.
This is where the family business developed and we are proud to say we have our own children working in our business alongside our friends and their family members too.

With 10 years at the helm, celebrating the 10 year milestone in February 2024, the company has been going from strength to strength & has been recognised for their efforts having been awarded the following titles from LABC East Anglian Building Excellence Awards of:

Mark Crisp MCIOB – Director/ Chartered Construction Manager
Mark has worked in construction for over 40 years and is passionate about building and renovating properties. His career began as an apprentice carpenter for a local builder and since then has been a site foreman and a director of two large construction companies.
Mark founded Chapel Properties Woodbridge with his wife, Ruth in early 2014 and they make a successful and highly effective team. Mark can easily visualise the end result and has the ability to effectively manage the process to reach the client’s vision, keeping each client fully informed on the progress of the project and giving them peace of mind throughout the build process.
He is a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and a recognised Chartered Construction Manager (CCM).
Ruth Crisp – Interior Designer
Ruth has always had a passion for designing which began as a child when she painted a cast iron fireplace in her bedroom. Since owning her own homes, she has relished the interior design process and loves sourcing fabric, soft furnishings and decorative pieces to give all her interiors an individual stamp.
She has been inspired by all the home interior trends over the years like stencilling, mosaics, co-ordinating woodwork with walls and now feature walls and the revival of wallpaper. Just like in the home, trends in garden design change and she is very interested in keeping up to date with all the latest influences to create gorgeous outside spaces that complement the home.
Ruth’s taste is for contemporary living that is both functional and comfortable while giving the WOW factor to all her properties. She has an eye for a few opulent, key pieces that give her designs that all important signature look. She takes her design principles outside to provide gardens that are simple, contemporary and easy to maintain.
